Fortune Favours The Brave Eye Shadow Palette

Do I need another eye shadow palette in my life? Certainly not. Did I still end up buying it? Sure did. Oh well. They say old habits die hard.

There is definitely something about eye shadow palettes. I am so addicted and can't seem to get enough of them. There was a period of time when I stopped buying them, but a few years back, I received the original Urban Decay Naked palette as a birthday gift, which I truly believe is the main cause of the relapsed for my love for eye shadow palettes and addiction.

The Fortune Favours the Brave palette is designed by British Beauty Blogger in collaboration with Make Up Revolution London. Personally, I have never used nor own any make up products from Make Up Revolution. But upon seeing this particular palette on social media, I knew it is one that I needed to add to my already bursting eye shadow palettes collection.

The first thing that caught my eye was the colour range packed into the palette. The Fortune Favours the Brave palette comes with 30 eye shadow colours, ranging from the everyday neutral to the darkest shades of blue, green and black suited for occasions which call for the bold eye make up look. Not only does the palette comes in a wide variety of colours, but also it combines matt, sheen and glimmer finishes into this one palette. Thus making it one of the most versatile eye shadow palettes available on the market both in terms of colour range and finishes.

Having used the range of eye shadows from this palette for the last one month, I must admit, I am rather impressed by its quality. The formulation is on point and ticks every single criteria I look out for when it comes to eye shadows. The colour payoff, pigmentation, texture, blendability and longevity definitely meet if not exceeded my expectations considering how much this palette is selling for.

Priced at £9.99, making it an affordable product on the market, design wise, there is nothing cheap about this palette.

The gold packaging with a Chinese symbol printed on the cover, to me symbolises, grand, premium, bold and lush. In addition, the packaging is very slim and compact, making it very suitable for those who are always on the go and for travelling.  I certainly have popped this palette into my every day bag without the feeling of  extra weight added to my bag.

Last but not least, the name! I absolutely love it. I mean, how can you not love it? Fortune Favours the Brave. How empowering and motivating is that? Even if the palette did not meet all the criteria I mentioned above, (which it clearly did), I would still have bought it based on its name. That's allowed for sure, no?

If I were you, I would certainly add this palette into your collection. You may think that you don't need it, but it is definitely one that I have been reaching out for non-stop since I purchased it.
