The Spotlight Edit

Dior 30 Montaigne Bag
Happy Bank Holiday weekend! It's another three-day weekend in the UK. It sure feels like we are being spoilt especially given Easter weekend was only a few weeks ago. Not to mention there is another long weekend at the end of May.

This weekend had given me time to relax and to slow down. So I thought I'd share three things that I had truly enjoyed, are worth mentioning in the very first debut of 'The Spotlight Edit'

ONE // Bingo Theory - The Ikonn Podcast

I've been enjoying listening to podcasts as a way to fill in time when I commute to work. The Bingo Theory essentially looks into the concept of masculine and feminine energy - similar to the famous eastern concept of Yin and Yang. Since listening to the episode, I have been mentally assessing those around me, whether they tend to have more feminine and masculine energy. It also had made me realise why certain relationships (not only romantic but also with colleagues and friends) are easier than others.

TWO // Dior 30 Montaigne Bag

I believe my love for Dior is pretty much well-documented. Ever since I spotted the Dior 30 Montaigne Bag on the Stylist Magazine, I've not been able to stop obsessing about it. It's not even on the shop floor yet - expected to hit stores on 10 May!

THREE // Becoming by Michelle Obama

A book that needs no introduction. I finished reading it during the Easter weekend and I can't recommend it enough. It's so so easy to get stuck into. There is warmth, humility, sincerity, wit and emotion.

FOUR // Zara S/S Dresses

Even though it's already May, the weather in London is still fickle. Naturally, as we approach the Spring and Summer season, I start moving away from jumpers and sweaters. Dresses are my go to and after lusting between this and this, I decided to limit myself to just one as they both have the same cut and style. The dress in raspberry or rust shade is something that I don't have in my wardrobe. Plus I think I'll get more wear out of it as the shade can be worn into the A/W season too.

Have a lovely day and enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend! x
